I'm sorry I haven't reached out to you before; I was (and am) unsure if you desire contact with me. However, it seemed inappropriate not to address the situation.
I would like you to know that while I still regard you very fondly, I do not consider you mine anymore, nor do I expect you to feel anything in particular towards me. I would welcome your company if you have any interest in mine, but I shall not force it on you. I appreciate that you must have complicated feelings regarding me, and if you wish to avoid the problem altogether, I will not be offended. If, however, you (or the Doctor) require my help, know that I am at your service.
I hope you are well, or at least as well as can be expected in this unfamiliar universe. It saddens me that you have been confined here like this, and I wish for a swift return home, for all of us.

However, I might hesitate to call it programming. Upon arriving through the rift, I was turned biological. I retain an ability to communicate with technology, and I'm sure other differences, but besides that, I appear to be part Gallifreyan, and part human. I've got just the one heart, and highly doubt I could regenerate, but there are some telepathic and time-related abilities.
I have not been properly checked out yet - besides you, there's no one here who'd both be able to and that I'd trust enough.

It might be for the best if you do, but I would guess you probably won't enjoy the experience. I am also still 30% the Master. While his actions are not mine, and I do not condone them nor have any desire to repeat them, he is still part of me too. I will understand if this causes you to distrust or dislike me, though I hope to prove myself trustworthy. If you wish to retract the offer of examination, I will understand that too.
